The Northern Lights, also called Aurora Borealis are one of the most spectacular shows on this earth and can frequently be seen in Iceland from September through March on cold, clear and crisp nights. If the weather conditions are right, we´ll go away from the city lights and find a dark place in the wilderness to enjoy the Northern Lights.

This tour is highly dependent upon weather conditions and therefore we only decide the same day whether we go or not. If you are really serious about seeing the Northern Lights, you should consider a private tour for a few days where we follow the best weather for optimal viewing.

 2. Aurora Borealis Winter Mystery Adventure

We follow the best weather to increase our chances of seeing the Northern Lights. We might go west; see Iceland´s largest hot spring, the beautiful Hraunfossar (Lava Waterfalls) and go off-roading on Langjökull Glacier. Or we might go east; visit the old parliament of Thingvellir, Geysir and Gullfoss waterfall. Or we might go along the south shore and see the black sanded beaches, Seljalandsfoss waterfall and go cave exploring... All according to your wishes and the weather forecast. Dinner (incl.) will be at a local restaurant and we hunt for the Northern Lights on the way back to Reykjavik.
