Friday: Reykjanes Lunar Landscape & the Blue Lagoon
Your private driver guide will pick you up at the airport in a modified Super Jeep and take you on a mountain track adventure in the Reykjanes peninsula where centuries of volcanic activity have shaped the landscape.  This is where the Eurasia and North-America tectonic plates meet which explaines the volcanic activity and geothermal heat in the ground.  After a thrilling ride along the mountain tracks you'll get to relax in the Blue Lagoon where you'll get a sixty minute body massage in the natural geothermal lagoon.  After a relaxing soak in the Blue Lagoon your journey continues on the mountain tracks through the Lunarlike Landscape where you'll visit a geyser area before going to the captial and checking into your hotel for the weekend.  Accommodation is an elegant 4* hotel located in downtown Reykjavik, a short walking distance from a number of shops and restaurants but in a side street so you won't be disturbed by part-goers.

Saturday: The Golden Circle and Glacier in a Private Super Jeep
After enjoying breakfast at the hotel the driver guide picks you up in the private Super Jeep.  You take the road east out of Reykjavik and to Thingvellir national park where the Icelandic parliament was founded in 870 AD.  Next you'll visit Geysir, the original geyser, and his little brother, Strokkur.  Although Geysir does not erupt much anymore Strokkur spouts boiling water 25-30 meters in the air every five to ten minutes.  A few minutes drive from Geysir is Gullfoss, the Golden Waterfall where you'll also stop for lunch. Now you get to enjoy true the benefits of going on this tour in Super Jeep as the driver guide takes you the rough mountain track to Langjökull glacier which is unaccessible to regular cars and busses.  Once you are on the glacier you can stop for photos in the panoramic view and the driver guide takes you on a cruise on the white plains of the glacier.  You can also go on an hour-long snowmobile tour if you wish, either a single or a dual ride.  On the way back to Reykjavik you'll cross Haukadalsheidi and visit Kerid crater lake.  You'll be back at the hotel in time for dinner.  The evening can be spent exploring downtown Reykjavik which is full of life on Saturday nights.

Sunday: Horseback Riding and Spa
In the morning you'll go on a horseback riding tour in Mosfellsveit where Nobel-winning write Halldor Laxnes lived.  There you get to enjoy the benefits of the Icelandic horse which is famous for having five distinct gaits, including the tölt and flying pace. After returning to Reykjavik and having lunch you'll spend the afternoon in a 4* spa where you'll have a hot stone massage.  The spa has a large indoor and outdoor thermal pool, six different saunas and steam rooms, each with it's own unique fragrance and theme as well as one cold and one hot jacuzzi with subterranean sea water.
